Denise Simone | Program Director and acting coach

Denise is a veteran of the industry as an actress, teacher, director, casting director, and personal talent manager. She has been teaching young actors in the craft of acting for over 30 years and provides group classes and private coaching in NYC and on line.For ten years, Denise was an associate with Fox Albert Management, one of the leading talent management companies in New York, where she managed such clients as Scarlett Johansson, Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino, Lacey Chabert, and Judy Reyes (NBC’s Scrubs).

A graduate of Florida State University with a B.F.A. degree in theatre, Denise has studied acting with renowned teachers, including Wynn Handman, Burt Reynolds, Charles Nelson Reilly, and Larry Silverberg. As a casting director, Denise cast the award-winning independent film, “No Letting Go,” directed by Jonathan Bucari.

Denise is a contributing expert columnist to Backstage.com, is a member of the NY SAG AFTRA Young Performers Committee, and has actively led seminars for Actors Equity Association, SAG- AFTRA, and other organizations throughout the country. She serves on the advisory board of the Looking Ahead committee at the Actors Fund in New York.

Guy Chachkes | Reelarc founder and film coach

Guy hails from the city of Tel Aviv, Israel where he was first introduced to the art of theatre and cinema as a young teen, creating dozens of short films on a VHS camera. By the age of 17, he had earned an Israeli theatre award nominee for his outstanding performance in a play and developed an expansive media background.

In late 2014 Guy, Steven C. Schmidt & Alaric McCoy founded REELARC, a production company geared towards producing cinematic quality scenes for actors in the Tristate area. Since its inception, REELARC has produced over 5000 original scenes and has become the leading gold standard in scene creation for the acting community in the United States.

In 2016, the REELARC team partnered with Tom Lapke, formerly the head of Backstage University, to create an educational and benefits program called Actors LaunchpadNow considered a leading professional enrichment programs for actors in NYC.

Guy is a Founding Member and current of Sixth Legions Media, overseeing both REELARC and ALP.

Peter Stray | Head writer at Reelarc and film coach

Peter was born in Wales and moved to the US ten years ago. As an actor he trained at The Central School Of Speech & Drama in London. He has appeared in Lost and many indie films and stage productions. As a teacher he has run workshops with gifted young actors in DC, NYC, CT, London and Wales.

His debut feature as a writer / director, "Canaries" has won awards at film festivals and will shortly be released theatrically in the UK and later in the US. He has two screenplays in pre production in the U.K. and another optioned by a US production company. He is delighted to write, teach and direct for REELARC.
